For those new to the Jackson area or unfamiliar with Jackson, we are located conveniently between North Augusta, Augusta, and Aiken. We are able to reach destinations within these cities with ease. Also, the cost of homes in Jackson is reasonable compared to the Aiken and North Augusta area. Jackson is a great place to start a family or relocate.
I am often asked what makes Jackson a great place to live: First: The caring people that makeup this community; they are always there in times of need. Second: We feel we have good schools, which are supported by our community. Also we have various denominations of churches to choose from. Last: The opportunities in Jackson whether it be career opportunities with the Savannah River Site or Kimberly Clark (two of the major employers in Aiken County), top notch police and fire protection or our town’s recreation opportunities which include: a community bus that takes regular trips for entertainment, monthly bingo, volunteer youth sports programs and a senior citizen program.
We welcome you to experience our hospitality of Jackson and visit the local sites to include: the Audubon Society, Jarrett Rifle Museum, and Redcliffe State Park. We feel you will come to love Jackson as we have.
