Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Water Maintenance Technician to join our team. EOE
Salary:
Based on experience and certifications.
Duties:
Install, repair, and maintain water mains according to specifications
Conduct inspections to identify issues and perform necessary repairs
Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Operate equipment such as backhoes, trenchers, and pipe cutters
Respond to emergency calls for water main repairs
Experience:
Proven experience working with water mains or similar infrastructure
Knowledge of water main installation and repair techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Must obtain class "E" Drinking Water Treatment license within one year of hire date
Must pass drug screening
